Lentech, Inc. Names Daniel Dant as Vice President of Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Programs.

Reston, Va., July 18, 2017 — Lentech, Inc. announces the appointment of Daniel Dant as its Vice President of DoD and Intelligence Programs. Mr. Dant has more than 27 years’ experience in high-level government wand industry positions within the DoD space community, ranging from space operations and control, national-level and DoD space strategy and policy formation, intelligence, and acquisition support. He will be responsible for existing Lentech defense programs and driving expansion in DoD and Intelligence markets.

Mr. Dant previously served in industry as Strategic Advisor to the Principal DoD Space Advisory in the Pentagon. With a 25-year career as an Air Force military officer, Colonel (Ret.) Dant was the Director of Strategy and Programming in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisitions, Technology and Logistics. He commanded the 460th Space Wing at Buckley Air Force Base, leading America’s space-based Infrared missile warning team. He was the Director of Space Policy for the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Cyber and Space Policy, and selected for the Chief of Staff of the Air Force Fellow Program. Mr. Dant holds 4 master’s degrees and a certificate from Harvard University in Organizational Change and Leadership.

Lentech awarded Department of Treasury Contract

April, 2017 — Lentech Inc. was awarded a prime contract to provide the Department of Treasury with hosting and support services for the HRLOB web based time and attendance solution Lentech is providing program management, hosting, operations, application support, and security to certify and maintain the system of the FISMA moderate level. “This work continues our expansion and growth as a provider of hosting solutions in support of federal and state customers”, said Andrew Gallegos, Lentech’s CEO. “Our hosting solutions provide our customers with unique, value-added solutions to maximize efficiency and cost effectiveness, all while providing critical IT security needed to meet FISMA levels from moderate to high. Lentech awarded Tasks to Support California Agencies in Support of Kronos

April, 2017 — Lentech Inc. has received multiple tasks from Kronos, a leading provider of workforce management software and solutions, to provide FISMA compliant cloud hosting and support to the State of California. Lentech has built a multi-tenant platform with centralized monitoring and management tools with ability to add new State of California agencies and applications upon request. As a Government and Public Sector Partner with AWS, Lentech has built this capability on AWS Govcloud, providing a FISMA high Infrastructure as a Service solution helping State agencies meet compliance mandates of both State and Federal policy.

Lentech currently provides this application hosting platform to Parks and Recreations, California Highway Patrol, and coming soon the CA Department of Developmental Services. Using our multi-tenant environment and leveraging AWS cloud capabilities, Lentech is able to provide a secure and compliant environment that meets the performance and availability requirements of each agency.

Lentech providing engineering and mission operations services to NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope Program

February 2017 — Lentech Inc. has been added as a key subcontractor to Lockheed Martin under NASA’s Mission Operations, Systems Engineering and Software II (MOSES II) contract. Lentech’s staff will provide key technical and operations support to the Hubble Space Telescope Program, one of NASA’s most highly visible programs that has provided unmatched science since its launch in 1990. Lentech staff provide key roles to support the ongoing operations and maintenance of NASA’s flagship observatory, including systems engineering, sensor and calibration engineering, mission operations engineering, and ground system testing support.

Lentech providing Program Analysis and Project Support to NASA Goddard Space Flight Center

January, 2017 – Lentech Inc. is providing critical program and project support as a subcontractor under the Program Analysis and Control (PAAC IV) contract. Lentech staff provide a host of critical support services to Goddard’s Directorates, including complex planning and scheduling, IT security, administrative, financial, and logistical services.

Lentech providing systems and discipline engineering to NASA Goddard Space Flight Center

December, 2016 – Lentech Inc. is providing systems and discipline engineering, integration and test, ground systems services, and mission assurance support under multiple contracts in support of the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Lentech’s engineers support key programs such as the Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS) program, the James Webb Space Telescope, the Laser Communications Relay Demonstration mission, the Geostationary Orbiting Environmental Satellite-R, and numerous other satellite and instrument development programs.

Lentech, Inc. Names Former ASRC Federal Executive as President

Lentech, Inc. becomes Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud Reseller

Reston, VA — Lentech, Inc. becomes a value-add reseller and integrator of the Amazon Web Services GovCloud (US) product. AWS GovCloud (US) is an isolated AWS Region designed to allow US government agencies and customers to move sensitive workloads into the cloud by addressing their specific regulatory and compliance requirements. The AWS GovCloud (US) framework adheres to U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) regulations as well as the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMPSM) requirements. FedRAMP is a U.S. government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. AWS GovCloud (US) has received an Agency Authorization to Operate (ATO) from the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) utilizing a FedRAMP accredited Third Party Assessment Organization (3PAO) for the following services: EC2, S3, EBS, VPC, and IAM. Additional AWS GovCloud (US) services can be independently reviewed on an individual basis for additional authorizations.

Lentech, Inc. Part of Winning Team Awarded Chief Information Officer – Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) Contract

Reston, VA — Lentech, Inc. is a team member of the AAC Inc. CIO-SP3 Contractor Team Arrangement (CTA) that has been awarded the new National Institutes of Health (NIH) Chief Information Officer – Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) Unrestricted Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) for IT Services and Solutions. The 10-year multiple award, $20 billion ceiling indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract is available to all federal agencies to meet a wide range of information technology requirements.As part of a nine-member CTA team led by AAC Inc. (, Lentech will have primary participation in the following task areas:

IT Services for Biomedical Research, Health Sciences, and Healthcare, which includes integration of health systems across federal agencies and public and private healthcare systems and modernization and enhancement of existing health IT legacy systems;

The T4 Program provides a total solution, encompassing all services needed to integrate a system, network, or other IT service in order to meet a client’s mission requirements. Health & Human Services (HHS)

Reston, VA — Lentech Inc. today announced that their Health & Human Services (HHS) Data Center services went live with application hosting services for the agency.
Lentech, Inc. is an integral team member with Information Innovators, Inc. Lentech has co-responsibility for the application hosting and associated managed services components of this contract providing a full range of hosting services to HHS Information Technology Infrastructure and Operations (ITIO) customers where Information Innovators team was the sole awardee in Functional Area 3 of the agency’s $800M, 7 year IDIQ contract awarded in 2009. As part of this effort, Lentech designed and built a state-of-the-art hosting environment called the Managed Application Hosting Center (MAHC) in Reston, VA. Services provided at the MAHC are available through our services menu, which allows customers to choose the level of support that is most appropriate for their unique application requirements. USFS Awards GIS Application Hosting Contract to Lentech

Reston, VA — Lentech, Inc. is awarded a U.S. Forest Service (USFS) contract to provide GIS Application Hosting and Support Services for the USFS State and Private Forestry (S&PF) Assessment Tool (S&PFAT). Services include providing a hosted data center environment; relevant hardware, software, peripherals, power, facilities, and secure network infrastructure that will enable external internet access to the Geospatial S&PFAT system. Contract was awarded under Lentech’s GSA Schedule 70.
